Wiremill Academy of Performing Arts is an education based program. Our number one goal is to help children realize how valuable and unique they are, and to inspire them to explore their creativity with confidence.
Wiremill Academy does several productions each year.
We do a musical every Fall and Winter/Spring for grades 4th-8th, and a Storyteller show for grades K-3rd. We do three camps over the summer, a junior musical (4th – 9th), a musical revue (6th – 12th), and a K-3 musical!
Wiremill Academy offers classes in Private Voice, Acting, and Dance, as well as group classes in Improv, Musical Theatre, and Acting.
All classes run on a 12-week semester in both Fall and Winter/Spring. Come join us!
Summer theatre camp at Wiremill Academy is a great way to introduce your child to a new experience or to give them the space to practice and learn some new skills in a safe, welcoming environment. Students meet new friends who share their passion for theatre, which helps to develop their social skills through play and performance.
Private lessons provide a safe space to address a student’s individual challenges, fine tune their skills, and build confidence to be themselves in front of an audience, in an interview or presentation in the real world. Students learn how to approach the world as educated, confident young adults.
Wiremill Academy provides a comprehensive individualized college prep program for high school juniors and seniors as well as an a la carte college preparation option for those who are looking to major in theatre, musical theatre, and classical voice in the BFA and BA programs.
Wiremill Academy was founded in 2011 by Mary Jo Duffy, Sarah Pfisterer, and Rick Hilsabeck, all professional actors with a desire to combine their collective skills to provide an educational program for young people.
We wanted to provide a space where students can focus on how to audition, rehearse, and practice the skills they learn with us to succeed in all their theatrical endeavors.
