Classical music at The Granite is an intimate, up-close, and visceral experience.
When talented musicians bring classic and new scores to life, the richness of their musicmaking fills the relatively small space between us, producing an unforgettable event. No amplification, nothing separating you and the musicians.
More often than not, the musicians you encounter at The Granite are your neighbors, local musicians who have honed their craft year after year. Similar to great athletes, they inspire awe with their prowess and athleticism, and we are proud to have them as members of our growing community.
“The space is in conversation with the music, and the music is in conversation with the space. That’s the magic of The Granite.”
Andrew Levine

We’re working with local and guest artists in formats that include multimedia components, informal conversation, and audience talkbacks, to name a few. The variety is endless and intended to showcase classical music in a new light.
Quarterly gatherings where ideas, music, literature and conversations are woven together to create inspiring and intimate afternoons.
A monthly workshop for classical composers and their collaborators to meet, network and listen to works in progress.
