Creative Conversations

Many of you have expressed interest in what we are up to at the Granite Church as we historically rehabilitate the building and prepare for its adaptive reuse. The Granite’s mission is to create a community gathering place for artistic expression and the exchange of ideas, supporting civic creativity and leadership.

In the spirit of our mission, we’d like to invite you to participate in upcoming breakfast conversations with fellow artists about the Georgetown area cultural arts scene – who is part of it, where it’s heading, and what its needs are. These conversations have evolved into our Creative Advisory Committee, and they will inform the priorities of the Granite as a performance and gallery space for music, visual arts, film, dance, theater, etc.

We will be meeting on Saturday morning at the Granite Church. Our meetings are open to the public.
