Saturday, July 27th, 11-1pm
Take a mental health break with art activities, music, movement, and discussions with the Western Connecticut Coalition.
For teens and adults.
How can we build healthier communities, as people, as artists, as friends, as a country? How can arts participation in communities influence social cohesion and well-being? On July 27th, 2024 from 11 to 1 pm, join us at the Granite and with communities across America as we celebrate the impact of the arts on community well-being as a part of the Arts for EveryBody initiative.
The event will include mental health discussions with the Western Connecticut Coalition and the Redding Prevention Council, restorative movement and meditation with Whitney Coccaro from Yoga Station, a musical performance by Charlotte Roth, a community art project with local artist and muralist, Kristen Terrana, and refreshments and treats available for purchase from Old Mill Market.
Take a break at the Granite!
